Five female students from Katsina’s Dutsinma University have been abducted

    The kidnapping of five female students from the Federal University Dutsinma (FUDMA) in Katsina by gunmen has been confirmed by the police in Katsina State.

    According to the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Abubakar Aliyu, terrorists broke into the “resident of the students” in Dutsinma, which is located behind Mariamoh Ajiri Memorial School.

    He reported that one person has been detained by the police on suspicion of providing information to the terrorists who kidnapped the students.

    The victim’s rescue without injury is a top priority, the official said.

    Both male and female students are reportedly residing off-campus due to security concerns, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
