To serve in Tinubu’s government, I don’t need an office. Mr. Babatunde Fashola (SAN), a former minister of works and housing, claims he is the future generation of leaders and does not require a title to serve in the President Bola Tinubu-led administration.
This was stated by Fashola, a trusted adviser to Tinubu, in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday at the Lagos State University in Ojo.
He went there to give the opening remarks at the university’s sixth research and innovation fair.
In response to a question about his involvement in the current administration at the federal level and the likelihood of an appointment, the former governor of Lagos State, who also served as Tinubu’s chief of staff while the president was the state’s governor, made reference to his time as Tinubu.

I don’t need a title to serve, he declared, adding that the president can only designate representatives from each state that he has done so, such as at least one minister.
Since there aren’t enough offices to accommodate everyone, and our population is predicted to exceed 200 million, parastatals are making do with what they have.
We all have civic responsibilities, and a citizen is someone who serves without regard to position.
“Being a citizen and playing your part is the most important title you need; we’re also talking about the next generation.
“Where is the location for the next batch if some do not move on?”
According to him, when spaces change, it is necessary to add more exceptional, public-spirited individuals to fill them.
Fashola expressed his excitement for the administration including a lot more young individuals.
