Fraser was born on December 3, 1968, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Carol and Peter Fraser, both of whom were working for the Canadian government in Indiana. Sean, Regan, and Kevin are the names of his three elder brothers. After relocating to Los Angeles, Fraser attended a cookout at Winona Ryder’s residence on July 4, 1993, where he met actress Afton Smith. Following their marriage on September 27, 1998, Fraser and Smith welcomed three sons: Griffin Arthur Fraser (born September 17, 2002), Holden Fletcher Fraser (born August 16, 2004), and Leland Francis Fraser (born May 2, 2006), all born in Los Angeles. Their divorce was publicly announced by Fraser’s spokesperson on December 27, 2007.
