Premier League Biggest-ever TV rights deal is anticipated by 2025
When 70 more Premier League matches become available for broadcast starting in 2025, the league hopes to shatter its own record for a domestic television rights contract.
200 matches are currently sold to UK broadcasters each season; the three-year contract, which expires in the 2024–2025 season, is reportedly worth £4.8 billion ($5.8 billion).
There will still be a Saturday afternoon blackout, which is intended to safeguard lower league attendance.
However, live broadcasting will debut for games moved to Sundays as a result of clubs participating in European fixtures.

Every game from the five midweek rounds each season as well as the live broadcast of the season’s last round will also contribute to the additional games.
For the 2028–2029 season, the Premier League is accepting offers on a four-year contract, as opposed to the customary three-year cycle.
Due to the impact of the coronavirus epidemic, the current deal was rolled over in 2021 for an additional three years. This is the first Premier League tender procedure since 2016.
Broadcasters will be able to bid on five packages that include 42–65 live matches.
Currently, 128 matches are available on Sky Sports, 52 on TNT Sports, and 20 on Amazon.
DAZN, a streaming service, is allegedly interested in obtaining rights for the first time, so competition is expected to be tough.
Because of their considerably more lucrative domestic and international TV rights deals, Premier League clubs already have a significant financial advantage over their rivals in Europe.
