The continuous clearance operation carried out by the 1 Division of the Nigerian Army has continued to yield favorable outcomes. Troops engaged with bandits and criminal elements in the Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, resulting in significant achievements.

Through a meticulously planned and well-executed operation, the troops successfully eliminated three bandits. They also managed to seize an AK 47 rifle, two locally crafted AK 47 rifles, seven AK 47 magazines, and eight motorcycles. Additionally, the troops recovered three locally made magazines, six mobile phones, as well as drugs and charms.
Maj. Gen. BA Alabi, the General Officer Commanding of 1 Division Nigerian Army and Force Commander of Operation Whirl Punch, expressed commendation for the remarkable successes achieved by the brave troops. He urged them to sustain their high level of momentum and determination until all criminal elements are entirely eradicated.
