Govt offices and banks have been closed due to a NLC Strike, it was discovered that the labor union closed down governmental offices and other facilities as early as Tuesday morning, at 5am.

    Tuesday, the Kano State branch of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, joined the two-day warning strike in protest of the Bola Tinubu-led Nigerian government’s elimination of the fuel subsidy.

    Ado Riruwai, the vice chairman of the Union State who oversaw the enforcement operation, told reporters that it was true.

    Banks and the power industry would also participate in the conflict, Riruwai added.

    He added that they were going to the airport to make sure that no flight was taking off from there.
