Ondo: A man cuts his wife with a machete after admitting  making sexual  moves toward  step-daughter

    Ondo State police detectives have launched a dragnet hunt for Kehinde Olanipekun, a man who they believe assaulted his wife Damilola after she accused him of making approaches toward his 14-year-old stepdaughter.

    At their home in Owo, Ondo state, Kehinde was accused of macheteing his wife for having the audacity to question him about his extramarital romance with his stepdaughter.

    The woman is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Owo due to the severity of the injuries she sustained during her husband’s savage attack, sources told Vanguard in Akure, the state capital.

    After the suspect made multiple advances, it was discovered that the stepdaughter reported the unpleasant events to her mother, who then confronted the husband.

    The source claims that the stepdaughter informed her mother that the sexual harassment had been going on for a while, but she was afraid to tell her.

    But she found bravery to tell her mother when she could no longer take the pressure the stepfather was putting on her.

    Vanguard learned that the husband apologized and didn’t refute the accusations, but he later struck his wife severely.

    A few days following the wife’s altercation, the suspect is said to have hurriedly returned from work, dispatched the two kids on errands, and then, after closing the doors, attacked the wife with a sharp cutlass.

    Vanguard learned that the victim feigned to have died as a result of the vicious attack, and then the suspect left the scene.
    After after, it is said that the victim was able to unlock one of the closed doors for their neighbors, who came racing inside the house and brought her to the hospital.

    By the time they hurried her to the hospital, she was reportedly comatose, and the physicians had to revive her.

    When contacted, Funmi Odunlami, the state police command’s spokesperson, confirmed that the woman had been attacked by her husband.

    According to Odunlami, the husband is on the run and is being sought after by the state police command.
