2 Nigerians are detained in India for drugs trafficking
A three-person international drug gang, consisting of 2 Nigerians and one Sierra Leonean, that was providing illegal drugs throughout India was busted by the Delhi police’s Special Cell on Thursday.
Six kilograms of the hypnotic narcotic methaqualone and two kilograms of heroin were found on the suspects, who were named as Paul Joy from Sierra Leone, Peace Ilobe from Nigeria, and Stephen from Nigeria, according to a local media outlet called The Statesman.

Two of the suspects, Paul Joy and Peace Ilobe, were apprehended by a Special Cell team conducting a swift raid near Shiv Murti, Rangpuri, following a tip.
When the two women were questioned more, it became clear that they had obtained the shipment of methaqualone from Stephen, who had been detained and arrested in the Mohan Garden neighborhood of india.
According to investigations, the three defendants, who have been engaged in drug trafficking for the past two years, were living in India without the required legal papers.
The suspects are being held on a number of counts, including forgery, preparation, impersonation, deceit, and possession of false documents.
Additional inquiry into the case is underway, according to the Delhi Police Special Cell.
