On Monday, the Senate gave its confirmation to 45 out of the 48 individuals who had been nominated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to become ministers. The confirmation process took eight days. According to Senate President Godswill Akpabio, 45 nominees received approval, while the remaining three nominees, namely Nasir Elrufai (Kaduna), Abubakar Sani Danladi (Taraba), and Stella Okotete (Delta), were awaiting security clearance.
